Tundra


Average Winter temperatures in the Tundra is -20 to -30 F. It never reaches over 20 F. Average temperature in the summer is 45-50 F, summer only lasts 6-10 weeks. Rainfall in the Tundra is 6-10 in. a year a cold and dry climate. Artic Foxes are found in northern parts of Canada and Alaska. Artic Foxes are scavengers and follow other animals for food.Harlequin ducks are found in northwest of North America from Alaska to Washington.Their diet includes many seafood creatures such as shellfish.The Snowy Owl is found in Artic areas.Its diet includes mammals such as Artic Foxes,Ermine are found in Canada, northern parts of The United States, and in Eurasia. Its diet includes rodents and voles.Caribou are found in Canada and Alaska.Its diet includes plants.Diamond-leaf willow is grown to be 30ft high or a few inches tall depending on parents traits. Eaten by first level consumers called Leaf Beetles. Labrador Tea is grown to be 4-5ft tall. This plant is known to be poisonous plant, deadly. Tuf Tea Saxifrage grown to be 3 - 15 cm high. It needs animal droppings to survive.
